Growing Fashion

The Nyx Elves, from the northern edge of the cave, live in the vertical forest of thorns and brambles that grow high up the Wall of the World. These Elves have a close connection to nature, they are master gardeners and bend nature to their will.

They shape trees to form homes, grow weapons from specialized hardwoods, and even entire ships to sail the sea.

And their fashion too. They do not spin or weave cloth, instead, they use only materials found in nature.

The clothes consist of large leaves, vines, flowers, moss, and wood. They even wear living plants that have been shaped to fit their form. Though recently, they have begun experimenting with more than just plants… The so-called flesh pants, their latest trend, is an eldritch parasite domesticated to live in symbiosis with an Elf.

But this new garment seems to be more than just a fashion statement, it has somehow changed the Nyxes’ mellow nature. After having kept to themselves in the bramble for ages, they now show a new interest in the rest of the cave. This has brought Nyx travelers as far as Bloodworth.

But even with a renewed curiosity, they have not shown any interest in fashions made of cloth.

Tooth Wood

The spiky brambles of tooth wood are as hard as steel. The plant is soft and easy to form when young but solidifies as it matures. A skilled gardener can shape it into any kind of tool or weapon.

Fig plant

The Classic Fig

Figs never go out of style. A great first plant to get for your Nyx wardrobe! The tasty skin-colored fruits are a nice bonus too.
Easy to use: Pluck a leaf and apply sticky side to desired area. Fashion!
