The eclectic style found in Bloodworth is split between the mono-colored casual style garments and the new mercenary style of gambeson and armor. Bloodworth’s fashion scene is also witnessing a rising trend of one-legged pants and suits, with a dash of Valari influence. Traditional or the bold, in Bloodworth, all you need to do is confidently declare your style as fashionable, and it will be.

Lineup of Ironedge fashion styles

Ironedge and Bloodworth Fashion

Back Home in Bloodworth

“Like veins to a heart, so too does all ropes lead to Bloodworth,” as the saying goes. The big city attracts kin from far and wide, a mixing bowl of people, cultures, and styles. Eclectic might be the only word to accurately sum up the collective fashion of the big city.

The tradition of Ironedge dyed fabrics still lives on, though the eye-watering patterns of yesteryear have fallen out of favor, giving way to mono-colored casual garments. A splash of color worn with a simple linen shirt or tunic, and, of course, the traditional belt can never go wrong.

For the more serious look, try the militaristic style, taking inspiration from both the mercenaries and the sparring clothes used by duelists. Gambeson jackets, cloaks, and pants have become trendy since the Crane mercenary force got their new black attire. Add some metal armor as an accessory if you are feeling daring.

Another trend on the rise is the one-legged pants and suits combined with a long sock. Some claim this trend was invented in Ironedge, but to those in the know, the garment is actually copied from the Valari.

In Bloodworth, you can wear pretty much what you like—just boldly proclaim it’s fashionable and it probably will be.

Are you new to Bloodworth?

Welcome to one of the oldest, still populated settlements on the Red Coast. Once only a fishing village of little importance, later subjugated by the Bloodworth foundation and used as a whaling and trade port, it grew quickly due to its ideal location between the Ulran sea and the Dorlet river.

Now the city is vast, with several districts of other federations built around the original settlement. Though calling them “districts” might be misleading to outsiders, as they each are city-states in their own right, independently governed by their given federation.

The Districts of Bloodworth

Arwel District: The original and largest district, still ruled by the Bloodworth Federation. Also called the Bloodworth District or Old Bloodworth. Known for its classic architecture and temperament.

Brin District: The rival that has stood the test of time. Roughly half the size, yet finely decorated, the district has become home to those who think they are just a bit better than the rest.

Crane District: The upstart. Rebuilt from the ruins of the Talon District, soon set to overtake Brin in size with the construction of the new spire. This unconventional district has attracted the unusual, opportunistic, and ambitious. And, of course, it’s where you will find the Mid Ward Market.

Unruled District: A failed district that has been abandoned and is now a crumbling lawless slum. Parts have been claimed by smaller federations, but seeing as the district is filled with rivaling gangs, it’s hard to see any federation having any success here without major mercenary backing, like we saw when the Cranes cleared out their district.
